Explore stress release and rediscover ease through mindful somatic movement. Balance your nervous system and build resilience with contemplative practices. 

No experience necessary. Bring a notebook, yoga mat and tea or water. 

HARMONIZING THE PELVIC FLOOR

Trauma Informed Somatic Movement & Contemplative Practice

ONLINE JANUARY 13th - Feb. 17th 2022

6 week class series to increase embodied awareness and confidence in the pelvic diaphragm.

In this class series learn how to access the pelvic diaphragm through the gentle pathways of voice, breath and gentle movement. Increase awareness and functional mobility by improving the felt-sense of safety and presence. Enjoy mindfulness techniques designed to explore a safe relationship with your body. 

You will learn:

  • The 3 Interconnected Diaphragms and how they work together

  • How to use the voice to access the nervous system to down-regulate the stress response which impacts pelvic tone. 

  • How to access the Respiratory Diaphragm, as the main muscle influencing pulmonary function/breathing/heart rate and pelvic muscle tone. 

  • Fascial layers and connective tissue to mobilize and strengthen the PF

  • Mindfulness Meditation and Vagus Nerve practices to integrate on all levels of your being.


All people with a pelvic floor are welcome, no prior yoga experience is necessary. Please include a notebook or journal to record your thoughts and experiences.
