HARMONIZING THE PELVIC FLOOR
Trauma Informed Somatic Movement & Contemplative Practice
An 8 week class series to increase embodied awareness and confidence in the pelvic diaphragm.
In this class series learn how to access the pelvic diaphragm through the gentle pathways of voice, breath and gentle movement. Increase awareness and functional mobility by improving the felt-sense of safety and presence. Enjoy mindfulness techniques designed to explore a safe relationship with your body.
You will learn:
The 3 Interconnected Diaphragms and how they work together
How to use the voice to access the nervous system to down-regulate the stress response which impacts pelvic tone.
How to access the Respiratory Diaphragm, as the main muscle influencing pulmonary function/breathing/heart rate and pelvic muscle tone.
Fascial layers and connective tissue to mobilize and strengthen the PF
Mindfulness Meditation and Vagus Nerve practices to integrate on all levels of your being.
All people with a pelvic floor are welcome, no prior yoga experience is necessary. Please include a notebook or journal to record your thoughts and experiences.

Harmonizing The Pelvic Floor - a safe exploration of the function, fascia and embodiment of the pelvic floor
Gentle mindful movement and awareness practice can support connection to the Pelvic Floor. A body based program to:
Explore how our voice and breathing are connected to our pelvic floor, and how to use them to increase awareness
Reasons why someone might not be able to feel or access the pelvic floor and what to do about it
Understand the fascial structure of the pelvic floor and embody anatomy, connections and function
Coordinate the fascia of the legs with the pelvic floor: What this means for walking and jogging and moving freely
Develop a consciousness for the organs in pelvic floor: understanding and training the fascia of the pelvic organs, recognizing their connections to (in)continence and fascia
Mindful Somatic Meditation practice, examine how our thoughts and feelings can influence healthy emotional pelvic connection
All are welcome to attend, no prior experience necessary. This is a trauma informed workshop, and will be offered as a safe, invitational method to attend to and connect with this area of ourselves.

You can attend all 4 sessions or choose the session you wish to attend.
We want EVERYONE to feel welcome to join for these sessions so we are offering this on a sliding scale. If you are in a position to pay this helps support those who are not. Regular price is $200 for all four sessions or $50 each session. Options to pay more or less than this will be offered upon checkout.
This series will be offered virtually only via Zoom, if you can not attend live, you will be sent a recording that you can view for 1 week
